On Wednesday 19th February 2025 BAWE Scotland members and guests gathered for our first Networking Dinner of 2025. At Cromlix House Hotel nr Dunblane.
Not only was it another sold out evening but our new members really got a taste of the warmness in the room and the supportive and inspiring talent.
We were joined by gust speaker Professor Gillian Fleming, founder of Mint Ventures the Angel Investment firm that is innovating investment for female led businesses.
A look at becoming an investor as well as the process to receive funding - it really was an exceptional insight into a world some of our members have already embarked on. Debate was positive and one realisation is Women lead business now seem to have to prove themselves more by being, living wage employers, net zero, ESG savvy, Do their male counterparts just achieve the funding without all the hoops?

We also trialled a new piece of digital software WITR app Who's in the room allows us all to share our LinkedIn profiles ahead during and after the event for those who wish to connect.
